What rinsing is needed for. Rinsing of new PET bottles and previously washed ones is needed to ensure their cleanness and sterility before filling. Rinsing, in accordance with processing technology requirements can be made: with water, air, disinfectant solutions or the product itself (in fact with any drinks). Usually PET bottles inside is rinsed, however, if necessary, the Vitmas Co. will also submit information of the rinsers able to rinse simultaneously both inside and outside of PET bottles.

Rinsers are manufactured in two versions.

Rinsers with a screw guide. The grippers slide on a fixed screw guide allowing a bottle radial turnover. PET bottles are fixed accurately in nozzles, which inject water or a cleaning solution for a preset time. When injection is over, running-off cycle begins before bottles return in their initial position. Rinsing solution is accumulated in a tray to prevent leakage on to the machine desk. Also to prevent leakage, the machine is provided with a system "no bottle - no spray". Time of treatment is set by the manufacturer, in accordance with a customer requirements. Rinsers with a screw guide can be fitted with double rinsing and/or mobile nozzles inserted into a bottle for injection.

Rinser operated by a support with a cog-wheel. In this structure the device, which opens and closes the grippers and overturns PET bottles, is operated by a support and a cog-wheel at each gripper with auxiliary cams. The machine makes one rinsing accompanied by a running-off interval, during which PET bottles are inclined to reduce liquid rests on the bottle bottom. Rinsing liquid is accumulated in a tray to prevent leakage on to the machine desk. Valves prevent rinsing liquid injection in the case of bottle absence. Treatment time can be changed easy and quickly.

Field of application. Rinsing machines are used in automated processing lines of average and high capacity at food industry enterprises:

• at distilleries, wineries, breweries and strong drinks PET bottling and packing plants: wine, vodka, liqueurs, beer, low alcohol and other drinks;
• at enterprises producing aerated and not-aerated soft drinks, lemonades, fruit juices, natural and aerated mineral water etc.
