The “Vitmas” Co. offer PET bottles production equipment with capacity from 0,1 l up to 20 l and various productivity. In this catalogue section there is description of the equipment with productivity up to 3 000 bottles per hour.

Short characteristic of the blowing machines with productivity up to 3 000 bottles/h.
The machines with productivity from 500 to 3 000 bottles/hour are semiautomatic, requiring use of manual labour. Usually a blowing set consists of an oven for preforms pre-heating and a unit for PET bottle blowing. To organize PET production compressor equipment is required too.

General description of the PET bottle production process for this class machines.

Preforms handling. Preforms loading and unloading into/from the machine is made by an operator manually.

Preforms heating. Before blowing preforms are heated by means of special UV lamps. At that PET material is softened. The heaters constructive features depend on a machine specific type. The system is made so that to heat the preforms in accordance with required modes of bottles blowing. The temperature control system regulates each preform zone heating till the required temperature degree. This technology allows to optimize material thickness distribution in the blown bottle’s sides.

The heating oven has not-graduated regulation of prefomrs movement speed, allowing to get maximum productivity for each preform kind. Heating is made by quartz lamps in several zones, what ensures the best plastification. By its movement the preform revolves on its axis, what ensures uniformity of the preform’s body heating. In the blowing machine the preform is stretched mechanically by means of metallic rods lowing down and at the same time the process of two-stages blowing is carried out.

Automatic process control. The machines are equipped with electronic control panels with programmable controllers. Machines of big productivity are equipped with computers. Automatic machinery controls stages of production cycle, regulates tension distribution for various sections of preforms heating; also, the machine is equipped with autodiagnostics system for detecting possible soft faults and breakage in the unit.

Bottles blowing. Bottles’ blowing is carried out in two stages. The blowing station consists of hydraulic rods with adjustable flow and speed, making vertical blowing of a heated preform. At the same time the compressed air distributor makes blowing in two stages. First, compressed air is supplied with pressure 10 bar, then compressed air at 25-40 bar, depending on bottle size. The mould holding block is equipped with hydraulic system of closing and water-cooling of moulds for quick stabilization of mechanical characteristics of blown bottles..

Bottles unloading. The machine can be equipped with automatic system of bottles installation onto a conveyer, or bottles fall into a collecting chute.
